Connective tissue is found throughout the body - in the skin, in and around the muscles, tendons and bones as well as in all organs. In other words, the connective tissue binds the whole body together.
The skin's connective tissue does not recovered at the same speed as you get older and the number of cell layers in the epidermis will therefore decrease.
