Before pregnancy

What to be aware of before becoming pregnant?

At the time of planning your pregnancy, you can take a closer look at your lifestyle and what supplements will be relevant to your pregnancy. The National Board of Health recommends that you do not consume alcohol or smoke. In addition, it is recommended a vitamin supplement of 400 micrograms folic acid during the day from planning pregnancy and 12 weeks into the pregnancy.

Why folic acid when pregnancy?

Folic acid reduces the risk of the baby being born with neural tube defect, which is a rare disorder that causes malformations of the brain, skull and spinal cord (1).

Our recommendation of MOM TO BE

With MOM TO BE Probiotics we recommend that you take 1 stick daily. The stick consists of 12 billion living lactic acid bacteria and 400 micrograms folic acid, the latter corresponding to the recommendation of the National Board of Health. The stick is opened and the content is poured directly into the mouth. There is no need for fluid. The powder dissolves directly on the tongue with a fine raspberry flavor.

When you are pregnant, taste and smell can change and influence the desire to eat all the things we should. Therefore, it has been important for us to make an alternative to capsules/pills, which for some can be a challenge to swallow during a pregnancy. Here we have succeeded with a delicious vegan Fastmelt Stick that tastes so delicious that you look look forward to the next one.
